            It is important to identify which teeth can be retained with



            endodontic treatment, and which should be extracted, as part of



            the orthodontic treatment planning

                    A  15-year-old  patient  in  need  of  orthodontic  treatment  was  referred  by  the

                    orthodontist to identify which teeth can be retained with endodontic treatment
                    and which should be extracted.

                                                                   Restorations  of  various  sizes  and  gingival
                                                                   erythema  were  observed  on  and  around

                                                                   both maxillary and mandibular incisors.
