lesion, regular monitoring of its pulpal status is
required and sometimes a cavity test may
become necessary.

1-year follow-up – More healing of the apical
lesion. Adjacent teeth responded normally
during vitality tests. The patient was advised to
proceed with permanent restoration on tooth
# 32.

3-years follow-up – Near complete healing with

reappearance of 32 lamina dura. Normal vitality
of the adjacent teeth. Extruded sealer did not
affect apical healing.
