MH: Hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes; both controlled with medication
CC: “I want to see if there’s a way to save my lower front teeth”
HCC: The patient reported going to the dentist three months ago since he had
been on liquid diet due to chewing difficulties. The dentist had informed
him that his extreme malocclusion has resulted in severely worn teeth
(Fig 42A) and has recommended building up his occlusion and
reconstructing it with implants. He had started the treatments and had a
root canal completed on the lower teeth due to pain and swelling at that
